• The BCF British Cycling , the internationally-recognised body for UK Cycle sport. Note that members of BC-affiliated clubs can apply for British Cycling membership via this link.
• Manchester Velodrome The National Cycling Centre, host to the 1996 and 2000 World Track Championships and 2002 Commonwealth Games.
• CTT Cycling Time Trials, formerly the Road Time Trials Council (or RTTC), organisers of British-based time trialling.
• The League of Veteran Racing Cyclists Action for the over-40's.
• The CTC The Cyclists Touring Club.
• The NRRA The Northern Road Records Association's website has an illustrated history of the association and a complete listing of all records held since 1891.

• Procycling Procycling magazine's website has a daily news service, as well as giving extracts from this month's issue.

• The Giro d'Italia This is the site for the Tour of Italy.
• Vuelta a Espana Similarly, this is the Tour of Spain site.
• Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré Major French build-up race for the Tour.

• Terry Dolan Another noted local frame builder. Based in Liverpool.
• Shimano The Japanese component manufacturers.

• The UK Bike Shop database Self-explanatory really! Searchable by region, product or marque.
